Rovia advised Legal and General Property in relation to the proposed alterations to the carpark at Interchange Retail Park. The consented scheme for Units P1 and P7 resulted in amendments to the car park layout. Following a detailed site visit, Rovia advised on the likely implications of the proposed car park amendments on localised parking demand and parking circulation.

At his former employer, Stephen Eyton also provided transport planning advice for proposals at Interchange Retail Park, supporting the redevelopment and intensification of the existing retail park through the delivery of three new commercial buildings for flexible Class E uses. The scheme also included amendments to the site layout, additional car parking, landscaping and associated infrastructure improvements.

Stephen demonstrated that the proposed development could be accommodated within the existing transport network while maintaining safe and efficient access for customers, staff and servicing vehicles. This involved reviewing parking demand, site circulation and proposing new vehicle access arrangements.

The transport strategy helped support the continued evolution of the retail park, facilitating additional commercial floorspace and investment while ensuring the site remained accessible and operationally effective.
